"Open Memory Box," une collaboration de Prof. Laurence McFalls (Science politique, IRTG Montréal) et Alberto Herskovits (réalisateur, Berlin), porte sur les relations entre images, souvenirs et mémoire.
Le but du projet est d'établir un archive 2.0 pour explorer le quotidien de l'Allemagne de l'Est entre les années '50 jusqu'à la chute du mur. Une sélection des films super 8 est transformée en court-métragés.
